BrdU positive cells seen throughout all layers of the retina in an adult mammal after eye drop treatment with an alpha7 nicotinic acetylcholine agonist.
BrdU labeled photoreceptors in adult rodent retina after treatment with an acetylcholine receptor agonist. Cells were labeled with antibodies against rhodopsin (red) as well as BrdU (green).
